To become a Business Host you simply need to register or subscribe as a member on the SwiftMart marketplace website and select the option Business Host. Your account as a business host will then be activated, once approved.
Business hosts will be able to transact and render their services immediately after approval and publishing of their service listing.

Yes, any person 18 years and older or legal entities such as a company or a close corporation who wants to offer and market their services to a digital-online audience can become a Business Host. Note – Subscription as a business host is currently available ONLY for South African users.

No, you don’t need to be a registered business to become a Business Host on our platform. However, Business Hosts are required to comply with relevant laws and hold the license, approval, or concession that may be required for the Business Host to deliver any service it offers.Business Hosts must also comply with any laws, regulations, or compulsory codes of conduct (whether of national, provincial, or municipal origin) that regulates the service or industry it operates in.
No, you can only offer and market services that match our pre-selected or identified Listing Categories and Listing Types.
Business Hosts will be responsible for managing and determining the pricing of their services offered. A payment made by a Client will be held as a deposit in favor of the Business Host. The Business Host will become entitled to receive the payment (less any admin/service fee or any other applicable fees due to us) once the service has been rendered or as agreed to otherwise.

After you have registered as a Business Host on our platform you will be able to upload your service/s. After you login as a Business Host, simply go to “Add New Listing” and complete each stage. Note that all information fields are mandatory and must be completed correctly, before you can move to the next stage. After completion of all the stages your listing will be verified, approved and published, if all the required information has been submitted and the ID verification process has been completed.
Yes, you can list as many services as your wish.
A Business Host will become entitled to a payout within 30 days or less from the date the service has commenced.
Once a Client has submitted a booking request, we will notify or inform the Business Host of the booking request. The Business Host will receive a notification message via email to check his/her Inbox on the SwiftMart Business Host Dashboard and can then either Accept or Decline the booking request.
Business Hosts will have the option to block/unblock their calendar when their services are not available/available. Simply select and click on the days that you wish to block your calendar and these days will display as Blocked/Unavailable on your calendar. The blocked/unavailable date can be canceled again from My Bookings on the Menu Bar section.
If the delivery of a service is temporarily or permanently interrupted by a Business Host (irrespective of the cause or intention), then a refund may in certain events be given to the Client subject to deduction of the following:
A Business Host may cancel a booking within 7 (seven) days of us having notified the Client that the Business Host has accepted the booking and no fees or expenses will be charged, except for the refund of the Client.
The Business Host is responsible for removing a service listing or deactivating their account with us whether the removal is of a temporary or permanent nature.

Yes, your business or asset is covered in accordance with the stipulated insurance cover provisions that apply to your business or asset indicated in your listing, if you have selected the Business Insurance option. Business Hosts must familiarize themselves with the terms and conditions of the relevant insurance cover that applies to their business or listings. Refer to your Insurance Manual/Schedule for more detail.
The Client will be required to make a new booking and additional charges will apply as determined by the specific listing for the extended period or additional days. The stored items will not be released until all outstanding payments have been made to us.
A Client is responsible to notify or inform us immediately or no later than 72 hours when they experience a service issue; or if they are not satisfied with the quality and standard of the service. Complaints must be lodged immediately when the Client receives the service or no later than 72 hours after the discovery that there is a service issue. If the Business Host delays in delivering the service, then the Client must inform us of the delay immediately. Depending on the circumstances, the Client may be entitled to cancel the booked service and receive a partial or full complete refund.

A Client may be entitled to a refund based on an evaluation of the events and the reasons provided to us by both the Client and the Business Host. Depending on the circumstances, the Client may be entitled to cancel the booked service and receive a partial or full refund.
Yes, you may withhold the keys and first contact support@swiftmart.co.za to inform us of the particular issue with the Client. You may also withhold the keys of your property if the client fails to present you with an Identification Document or if the client is under the influence of alcohol or illegal drug.
Each Listing makes provision to add extra fees such as cleaning fee, breakage fee or city tax where applicable. Note that the breakage fee is payable directly to the Business Host and is refundable, if the property or asset is returned in the same condition to the Business Host.
Yes, you may, but you are not allowed to render your service to a client that has been introduced to you by SwiftMart. Should it come to our attention that you render your service to a client that was introduced by us in the past, your membership will be suspended with immediate effect.
Business Hosts do not pay any service fee. Clients however will be charged 15% service fee of the Listing Price/Rate, plus any default fees per transaction.
Simply go to My Listings. Under Actions on the Menu Bar select/click on edit property/listing. Select/Click on Calendar on the extreme right. If you want to select multiple dates, you have to first click on start date on the Calendar then directly click on end date so that way it will select multiple days.
